Delete your KaabilAI account

The website (kaabilai.com) and the KaabilAI Android app use the same account, so deleting it removes it from both.

Delete it yourself

  1. Sign in on kaabilai.com or in the app.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Tap Request account deletion, then confirm.

Your account is switched off straight away and deleted 15 days later. Changed your mind? Sign in within those 15 days and cancel.

Can’t sign in?

Email privacy@kaabilai.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We reply to confirm and delete the account within 30 days.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

  • A resume: in Resumes, delete it from the resume’s card.
  • Your photo: open the resume, go to the Contact step and tap Remove photo.
  • Your online resume page: open Portfolio and unpublish it.
  • Saved jobs and job alerts: tap Unsave on a job, or delete an alert in Jobs, Alerts.
  • Anything else, such as interview recordings or job applications: email privacy@kaabilai.com from your account’s email address and say what to delete. We delete it within 30 days.

Payment records are kept for 7 years, as explained below.

Paying for Pro? Cancel first

Deleting your account doesn’t stop a subscription you bought through Google Play. Cancel it in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. A subscription bought on the website can be cancelled in Settings.

What we delete

  • Your account, sign in details and profile
  • Your resumes, including photos and anything you wrote or imported
  • Your online resume page
  • Saved jobs, job alerts and your job applications
  • Interview recordings, answers and transcripts

What we keep, and why

  • Payment records and invoices, for 7 years, because Indian GST law requires it. Your name and account are removed from them.
  • An anonymous record of each interview (its type, date and result), with nothing that links it to you.
  • Interview certificates you were issued stay checkable by their ID, showing the name, interview and date printed on them, so employers you shared one with can still verify it. Email privacy@kaabilai.com and we’ll remove them too.
  • A job application an employer already received stays with that employer; ask them directly to delete it.
  • Encrypted backups can hold deleted data for up to 30 days before they are replaced.
